Earlier this Summer, Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Water partnered with The Inertia to highlight local non-profit AccesSurf Hawai'i and the return of the Hawai'i Adaptive Surfing Championships. Through our Kōkua Initiative, we were the official water sponsor of this historic event, which was also the first ever stop of the newly launched Adaptive Surfing Professionals World Championships Tour.

AccesSurf, which recently celebrated its 15th Anniversary, creates an ocean of possibilities for all to have access to the ocean through adaptive watersports. The company is a pioneer in the sport of adaptive surfing and in addition to the Championship events, offers monthly programming to create ocean access for all. The hard work, commitment, and aloha of the AccesSurf Hawai'i 'Ohana is a large reason why the Adaptive Surfing Professionals World Championships Tour now exists.
